The Variable message Sign boards are a centrally controlled VMS system from a central location as desired . It is possible to control the VMS from any location as long as a GSM signal is available. The VMS units are gantry mounted above the traffic at a safe height of 6 mtrs above Ground Level The gantry is used to house a separate UPS if required and battery backup system for the unit to provide desired standby time if required. |

The uses of the VMS are to provide safety information to the motorist as well as provide the motorist with information about weather and traffic conditions which may prevail on the road. The messages can be changed to reflect any desired message or to display preset messages as defined in the system.
