ENVOYS MANUFACTURE VARIOUS MODELS IN REVERSE COUNT DOWN SIGNALS

These are used   in junction with conventional Vehicular / Pedestrian signals to provide information to the traffic regarding the amount of time remaining to safely cross the signals . It is hypothesized that  vehicles / pedestrians will use this information to make better decisions about when to enter the road  / crosswalk. Depending on user preference, the count-down timer starts either when the Desired signal (RED / AMBER / GREEN OR PEDESTRIAN ) indication appears  .  or when the flashing DON’T WALK or Hand indication appears. The timer continues counting down through the flashing DON’T WALK (Hand) clearance interval. When the steady DON’T WALK or Hand appears, the countdown signal will be at    as per their selective models .

VISIBILITY :  Easily visible from more than 100 ~ 400 meters  in day light as per the letter height .

MODELS : Currently, there are more than 10  types of countdown signals being manufactured.
For pedestrian timer  2 in 1 Model  contains two signal heads, with one of the heads displaying the count-down timer and the other displaying the Walking Person/Hand indications .

Universal model  contains both the count-down timer for  pedestrian  / Vehicles signal indications in one unit

CONSTRUCTION  :

The pelican type  is packaged in a standard  signal housing and contains the "Walking Person" and "Hand" indications that overlap on the message-bearing surface along with the numerical display. The display has 8" high numerals and is capable of displaying numbers "00" to "99".

Universal type  have many variants as per following choice or customer specific requirements , display is assembled using ultra bright LED at a pitch of 5 mm on glass epoxy PCB , with protective coating for moisture proof . With Complete circuitry & in built smart sensor for time sensing Housed in   weather proof  MS cabinet with Visor  .

OPERATION :
Count down timer consist of smart sensor in built  3 channel for red / amber / green  timing which detect the duration of each stage when switched on for the first time or in any change in duration of cycle then automatically display reverse counting for each channel ( Red /Amber/ green).  

WORKING VOLTS  : 220 / 110 volts A.C.  50 Hz  + 10% or  12 / 24 V DC as per requirements .
